Terms & Conditions - NetRegistrations Plates ' R ' us shall be responsible for handling the documentation required to transfer the registration number and will process and deal with all correspondence as quickly and as efficiently as possible, however we will NOT be liable for any losses caused due to and unexpected delays or if the DVLA revokes the right to a registration number, we will NOT be liable for any damages or expense incurred.
Buying
The Buyer shall be responsible for sending to us the payment for the transfer fee of £80.00 or the retention fee of £105.00 payable to the Department of Transport and for producing all the required documentation for the vehicle, onto which the registration number will be transferred. If the Buyer does not proceed with the transfer of the registration number after paying part payment to us, or fails to supply the full documentation required by the DVLA to process transfer, no part of the part payment is refundable. If the transaction fails due to no fault on the part of the Buyer other than as detailed above, we will offer a full refund of monies paid and all documentation shall be returned. The fee that was paid to the Department of Transport of either £80.00 or £105.00 will be refunded to the Buyer directly from Swansea ( DVLA ) at a later date. The issue of a Vehicle Registration Document V5 bearing the new registration number to the Buyer from the DVLA Swansea shall be THE ONLY CONCLUSIVE PROOF that a successful Transfer has taken place. It should be noted that the Secretary of State for Transport or their Agents the DVLA (as keeper of the records) may revoke the right to a registration Mark at any time for whatever reason, in the unlikely event this happens we will NOT be held responsible. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to buy and get made the new number plates and to get them fitted to the vehicle, in line with the terms and conditions laid out by the DVLA.

Plates 'R' us will advertise the Registration Number on behalf of the Donor and will handle all the paperwork an d documentation involved in the Transfer, free of charge provided the Donor complies with the obligations set out in these Terms and Conditions. Plates 'R' us will upon acceptance of the mark, post a quotation out to the owner, the net amount, which is shown on your quotation, is the payment that we shall pay you (unless you make a any further reduction). Upon completion of the Transfer the amount payable shall be made, upon receipt from the Donor
of a photocopy of his/her V5 Registration Document issued by Swansea bearing the replacement registration number. This is proof that the transfer has been completed. ( the donor will be responsible to purchase number vehicle plates and have them fitted to the vehicle ) We will not accept any liability for any losses incurred by the Donor through delay from the slow arrival of documents by the Buyer or if the Buyer fails to go ahead with the Transaction. The Donor must supply all relevant paperwork when requested by RETURN POST and MUST inform us immediately
if there is to be any delays. The Donor agrees to deliver his/her vehicle for inspection at the local Vehicle Registration office if required. (Please note the Chassis Number on the vehicle must tally up with the Chassis Number on the V5 Registration Document).
The Donor vehicle must have current MOT and Tax or have been taxed within the last 6 months to be eligible for Transfer. We will advertise the Registration Number on behalf of the Donor until a Buyer is found, so it is the responsibility of the Donor to inform us in writing if the Registration Number is no longer available for sale or cannot be transferred because of the vehicle not meeting the Transfer rules, or if the vehicle is stolen/destroyed or the Donor ceases to be the owner of the vehicle.If we find a buyer the Donor and notification that the mark is not for sale has been sent to us by recorder post, then the donor shall be liable to pay us our commission, as it is not fair that
we should incur expense in selling a Registration Number that is not available for sale.
If the Registration Number is held ona V778 Retention Certificate or a Certificate of Entitlement
the Donor is liable for the £25.00 payable to the Department of Transport to change the
Nominee name on the Certificate to that of the Buyer.

Payments

Net Registrations DO NOT keep any record's or details of credit / debit cards, all information
is destroyed, your confidentiality is a main concern and we take care that your details are
kept strictly confidential.

A receipt of all transactions will be sent to you by first class post, the transaction will appear
on your statement as :- Net Registrations

Al cheque payments should be made to :- Net Registrations.
